"Titanic" the Musical

Our fist stop was in Denver Colorado. Actually, it was in Inglewood, kind of a suburb of Denver. The entertainment was dinner and a musical at The Country Playhouse( it looked like a Barn from the outside). The musical was "Titanic", and nothing like the movie! If you have never been to a musical, you should go at least once in your life.It was very good and it turned out that our servers, called Barnstormers, were also part of the musical.

We ate a wonderful buffet dinner, the restaurant tables were set around the stage area that looked like a dance floor. There were also other levels with tables, each with a little red lamp giving the whole place a romantic feel. The aisles between the tables were also used as part of the play with the actors running through while singing their lines! The dance floor and stage area also had a large mobile stage that would rise up and down with the different scenes. They had simple special effects like sounds and smoke, as well as removeable props.

Unfortunately, we were not allowed to take any photos during the perfomances.
